Reg H1B Extension-No Travel made

Dear Sir,

I had H1B Visa and it was expired on July 2010. But I haven't made any travel to USA by using that H1B Visa. After that my company processed me a L1B which was rejected,
Now my company processing a H1B visa Extension of the previous one (Not Subjected to CAP mode).

In this case the VO officer will ask any questions regarding that "No travel made to US by using that existing visa? It will make any impact in getting new visa? Please explain.

How to tackle this kind of situation at the time of Visa interview.
