Can I apply For L1B if My H1B Visa gets Rejected or H1B if my L1B gets rejected

Hi All,

My company applied L1B for me and i had applied H1B from out side. I got all documents for L1B and waiting for H1B documents, may get in this month.

Can i proceed with L1B interview ? Suppose if i proceed with L1B and its get rejected can i go for h1b immediately with in a week or so ?

Or

If i go for H1B stamping after getting my papers if it get rejected i can still go for L1B ?

Which visa do i need to go for first ? If any visa get rejected can i attend for the next one immediately ?

Do i need to resign from my present orgnization if i apply for H1B from outside ?

I am confused. And h1b is sponsered by a company 'X' and i am working for Company 'Y'.

Please suggest.

You can apply for the second Visa anytime after the first one, irrespective of which. Unless reason for first denial is related to you (fraud etc.) second application will not be affected.
