H1 visa Stamping abroad

Hi..

I got my initial H1B stamping at Amsterdam Europe in 2007 and visited US in Jan'10.
I got my I797 extended in Oct'10 and now planning to visit Canada for my Visa stamping of the extension.

So I would like to know if I can get my second stamping abroad in Canada or if its mandatory for me to get my extended I797 Visa stamping at my home country India.

You can get it stamped in Canada.
