Part time job in H1B?

I am in H1B Visa in USA. Can I work here as an Independent Business Owner(IBO) or Part time job or some business of pyramid schemes, etc? Please suggest. Thanks!

AFAIK you cannot. My advice is to not get involved in pyramid schemes even if you can.

Thanks kabkaba for your reply. I will not be owning the business nor I will employ anyone in the pyramid scheme or that part time business. Still, it is not allowed for H1B candidate?

You can in fact own a business and employ people, but you cannot work for that business. All you can do is passive investment (like in stocks). You can only work for your H1 sponsoring employer.
