I went for visa interview and received a 221-g blue form with a request to submit 5 more documents. I submitted all the documents to VFS after 3 weeks. Within 3 days of submission of documents along with passport to VFS, I received all the docs back with a pink slip saying administrative processing required, consulate had retained my new passport.
I have submitted my new passport to consulate and old passport with valid B1 is with me, Since the VO askd me to submit document and new passport to VFS.
My question is "Is it necessary to submit old passport along with new or in anyway will old passport help concerned people to expedite administrative processing?" (I guess they have all info regarding visas which was submitted in DS-160)
