Which US Consulate should I have my interview at ?

Hello Guys,

I am Rahul. I am currently staying in the United States. I was for approved for 3 years of H1-B
starting Mar 2011 thru Feb 2014 .

Now i have to visit India for an important family event.

I am from Hyderabad in India.

I have 2 questions.

1. Shall I attend for an Interview at Hydearbad/Chennai or do you suggest any other other consulate like New Delhi ?. **Please answer this **

2. Recently, I have been hearing news of Visas getting delayed/rejected. I work full time for a MNC in US. Will I have any effect ?
