Re-schedule (Prepone) my VISA stamping date?

Hi:

I have booked my interview date on 12th Oct 2011 for my H1 along with my wife (H4). I am expecting the documents from lawyers next week. IF I GET it early, can I prepone it?

If you want to prepone, then you have to cancel the existing appointment and book a new one. You have to check the consulate's website to look for the availability of the earlier dates. If you cancel the appointment twice, then there is a period for which you cannot attend the interview. Instead of complicating things, I would suggest you to take the interview as schedule.
