Which I-94 Card Should I Hand Over while leaving USA?

Hi,

I got a new I-94 with H1 Extension and i already have an expired I-94 on my passport. Should i remove the new I-94 from the bottom of the approval letter and staple it to existing I-94 which is already in my passport? Which one should i return while leaving the country or should i return both? Please let me know.

Read the approval notice. Does it say attach this I-94 to the old I-94? If yes, do so and submit both I-94's to the airline when you leave.
