H1 B visa Inteview at Hyderabad US consulate
I have been observer on this forum for a while. I thank all the users and administrators for their valuable contribution. This has helped me in great detail to understand the procedure.
I have attended the visa interview at US consulate Hyderabad with my wife and 4 year old daughter
Overall it was not a very pleasant experience.
Me: Good morning how are you?
VO: I am fine how are you?
Me: fine thank you
VO: How long have been married
Me: X years
VO: What is your academic qualification
Me: Bacheolars in medicine
VO: So you are going to work for tech company
Me: No I am not going to involve in the development of software. I am going to work on elearning website development project where I will provide medical content
VO: I know sir but why do you want to go the tech company?
Me: Global exposure
VO: how many employess does this company have?
Me: 21
VO: Why do you want to go to such a small tech company being a doctor. I am fine you going to a company like Novartis or Dr. Reddy's? How did you find this company
Me: Job portal on the internet
VO: I need additional documentation from your petitioner and gave me a white form and gave all our passports back to me
VO: question to my wife; How long are you married?
My wife: x years
VO: where does your husband work currently.
My wife: ABC
VO: Please submit requested documents at VFS
Interview ended.
After coming out I have checked the form. He has ticked the following check boxes.
In the documentation I gave him, it was clearly mentioned that all these documents are available.
A copy of the petition with all supporting documents as filed with USCIS
2. Copies of your complete academic credentials
3. Evidence of previous work experience in the petitioned field
It is mentioned in the form that I will receive a detail instruction via email regarding the document submission. I am waiting for the mail from consulate to submit the documents.
