Hi,
I am on H1b, currently working with India based company A. My visa expires Jun 2005. I am supposed to go to India before that.
However, I do not want to lose my H1 status. So even though I have no plans of leaving company A, I want to get my visa transferred to company B just to have the option of coming back to US.
In India I will continue to work for Company A, while my petition with A would be expired. The petition with B would be valid but I won't be joining B right now.
Can I get the H1 for company B stamped while still being an employee of Company A? Or do I have to be an employee of company B to get visa stamped for B?
In case Company A gets my visa extended before I leave, can I get two stamping for two different companies when I'm in India?
