Query regarding HDFC Receipt

Hi,
I have a very simple question regarding the HDFC receipt.

Do we get the Demand Drafts or does HDFC transfer it to VFS themselves?

I mean do we need to carry the DD or do we just get the HDFC Receipts?

You give the DD, check, cash or any other acceptable form of payment to HDFC and they give you a receipt. Show that receipt to VFS and the consular officers as proof of payment.
