Arrgh...! studpid VFS

So this is stupid and makes me angry. I received an email as well as an SMS saying my passport was dispatched through Bluedart yesterday. When I opened the package today, it had my submitted documents and a yellow 221g asking me to submit my passport! The 221g was dated 27th March and I received it on 30th March. I had already submitted my passport yesterday.

So I called up VFS helpline to ask what the F is going on? They then asked me to email a scanned copy of the 221g back to VFS.

Now lets see how long these guys take to process my passport. 2days and counting....

Same thing happened with me and now online passport tracker shows passport is handed over on 29 march. I don't understand what is going on and how we are going to track our passport

oh man, this is nuts. I was waiting so excitingly to have my passport back in my hands today. I had my heart in my mouth when I saw the yellow 221g. But they are only asking for the passport which is a good sign. Had almost booked my tickets for the next weekend....

Yeah, my passport is shown as delivered aswell. I hope they send us a new email/sms update soon.

I can feel your pain. The whole process is so effin convoluted. Hope your issues get resolved ASAP. Pardon my ignorance, but did you guys receive an email from the Consulate to submit your passport? Also, did you wait for your barcode number to appear online on the clearance list?

I have heard that normally it takes arnd 4-7 days, but then there have been cases where passport was ready on the same day for pickup. So i guess this also depends.

Ok...I'll try to stay calm for another 3 days!

Yes, we did receive an email first (28th March). And our codes never appeared on the list, like most people with blue 221g.

Oh ok! Hopefully, the passport submission is the last step for you and Blueguy. Since VFS has your passports, it should simply be a matter of days...theoretically, at least!

yes, i took a photo and sent them right away. i don't get how that is going to help them but did it anyways...

is there any one who got blue 221g initially and then yellow slip?

10th Jan 2012 : 1st interview : got blue slip (ask for some doc from me and employer)
Jan 19th: submit all the documents
Feb17th : Email from consulate to come with passport
Feb 22: VO again took my interview and hand over Yellow 221g checked on others ( No doc asked , passport and I-797 is with me)
still waiting ....

No other VO took my interview.

they ask me the same question which i was asked in first interview

Which company i work for?
Who is my supervisor?
what is the client location?
what is my salary?
what i have laptop or Desktop? and who have provide me that?

I work in EC model and client are the primary vendor of my company.
my company has 150+ employee its DESI company.
