PP wont be available for pick up at pune but we got notification to pick it up fron mumbai counter... My case is in sync with akhil... 24th submitted at pune.. 27th available for pick up at mumbai... 28th bluedart attempted to deliver and as i'm out on vacation cudnt collect it.. But requested bludart to attempt again on monday so tht my bro wil make it in behalf of me...

Congrats as very few EVC cases have been cleared and you are one of them. Really very happy for you.

For me i think this is the end of a long wait as i checked my case status online today and it shows

status : Refused
Response date : 20 july 2012

I have been patiently waiting since Dec 2011 and after submission of documents there was no update at all from consulate except Administrative Processing.
I was working for the same emplyer -vendor -client since last 5 yrs and was positive about the decision but Consulate decision of refusal really a big shocker and i am unable to justify the decision.

If you are a 221g blue candidate from Mumbai consulate then the status showing refused on DOS site means that case is still pending. Same scenario has been reported by other members on this forum.

You should call VFS to confirm your case status.

Finally got a H1B stamp on my Passport

My brother received the passport on my behalf yesterday... It was delivered with a stamp valid for 2.5yrs.. My sincere wishes to all those who are stilll fighting with the 221G Demon... Here patience is the key... keep a control on it... you people will definitely receive ur VISA. I will be following this forum quite frequently...its payback time as this forum helped in many ways...

My passport is with embassy which i submitted with 221g docs. on friday i checked my status on US DOS link and it says ISSUED, but still the VFS website says case is pending while tracking the passport. Any idea how long should i wait ?

Response Date: 20-Jul-2012

Your visa is in final processing. If you have not received it in more than 10 working days, please see the webpage for contact information of the embassy or consulate where you submitted your application.

As per earlier posts, if the status is showing issued - it means your case has been cleared.

You should check your email which you had provided in you DS-160 form, you should have received an email on your case.
If you dont see any email then I would suggest you check with VFS to make sure its all clear and they are ready to issue your visa.

new information updated on CEAC for my case.
now they have updated my response date to 31st July 2012. Not sure whats going on . Before it was 20th July.

Frankly speaking, I did nothing!!! However, I never believed in the information that was provided by VFS as it is always inconsistent. I would recommend you to confirm the same from DOS.
Difference b/w Pending and AP:
Pending: Pending on VO's review of the documents submitted.
AP: Sometimes if the VO is not completely satisfied with the documents or wants them to get verified then they move it to Admin Processing where the verification is done like Calls are made to Client location inquiring about the applicant also background check (If needed). It all varies from case 2 case.

FYI, After some research I came to know that once a case moves to pending/hold the case will be kept waiting even after submission of documents until the VO who took your Intrvw finds a schedule to re validate the papers. This is a protocol followed at US Consulate. No other VO can take over a pending case which was not handled by him/her earlier (except for some exceptions).

I had my interview on 25th May and still the case is in pending status. Not even single email from consulate.
Initially i had submitted 4 documents out of 6 documents asked by the VO. Now i got all other document except 1(wich is not applicable in my case)
I went to VFS- Ahmedabad today to submit this documents but they didnt accept it.
They told they cant except any documents after first package unless we get email from consulate that it is necessary.
I dont know what to do now. this is so frustrating

Recently the link is made unavailable may be they are applying some changes to the process. I believe it should be made available pretty soon...
