H1 blue slip from Mumbai with comments

I submitted documents on 23rd dec. at VFS Ahmedabad.
In blue form it states that you can submit your documents at any nearest VFS center.

I have a question.

If you receive 221g Blue in Mumbai, do I have to go to the consulate or submit docs at VFS ?

ya...that's what..but stupid VFS Hyd didn't take the docs making me go for a round trip to Mumbai.

Got my passport with the visa today. Posting the timeline for your reference --

Interview - 19th Dec 2011 (Mumbai - Got 221g)
Submitted Docs - 22nd Dec 2011 (VFS - Ahmedabad)
Received Email to submit passport - 9th Jan 2012
Submitted Passport - 10th Jan 2012 (VFS-Ahmedabad)
Received Email that passport is ready - 12th Jan 2012
Received Passport - 13th Jan 2012

One more question - does the VFS web site show a different status after you got the mail to submit passport?

Interview Date: 12/01/12 got BLUE SLIP dont know what went wrong ask for submitting documents from pettioner which they have allready submitted to USCIS friends please guide me who got blue slips and later on got there visa. Mine is direct employer small company what are my chances. To get approval it took 6 months and now again this slip

I am still waiting from 15 th Dec (first submission) and 10 th Jan (pay slips submission) .
Really getting tired as my daughters school has started on 3rd Jan and we are still here.
Does anyone think following or requesting vfs over email helps us? How often you send email to vfs helpline email address?
Its really frustrating as there is no clear answer on my case.

There was no provision to check status on VFS website. Did you mean the barcode pdf ?

When we type our passport number on VFS Track your passport page a message saying "It is under processing or Whatever" comes up. Thats what he meant. Correct me if I am wrong.
