H1 to H4 Visa Stamping

hi,

My wife have an expired H1 stamping on her passport and now she has an approved H4 visa. We would be appearing for visa interview this month and need to know if i would need to take any of her H1 related documents including previous pay stubs or federal income tax returns.

Not required. But advisable to carry all the previous approval notices and W2s.

I would keep the past W2's for her. Do you think i should keep any other document also like previous pay stub etc. for her?

Previous payslips are not required. It is required only if she is already in H1B status. When she is in H4, apyslips are not required. But you can carry a couple of the last payslips if you feel comfortable doing so.
