Visa appointment scheduling

Hello there,

I work for a US employer (medical devices) on a H1B. I will be visiting India in December 2011 and so will require visa stamping. As I look at the visa appointment dates, the calender for Hyderabad Consulate has a couple of green blocks in the 1st week of December 2011, meaning open available appointments as I understand.

My question regarding this is - how early does Hyderabad Consulate open the appointment dates??

Is it possible that I see green blocks just during the 1st week and none of the remaining weeks because they didn't open?? ... or all were opened and have been reserved?

Any information on how early the dates are opened will be of massive help.

Usually they open the dates 2-3 weeks in advance. It all depends on the availability and you need to keep looking.
