Passport delay after successfull interview in Hyd.

Hi,

I attended H1B extension interview in Hyd on 1st Nov. And officer told that visa is approved and i will get passport in a week. Its more than 2 weeks n i didnt get the passport. in VFS web site the status is "Your passport is under process at US Consulate" from last 10 days. I didn't get any slip at the time of interview. I was supposed to travel on 13th Nov but cancelled the tickets due to this delay.

Any one in similar situation , and any info around this will help.

Call VFS helpdesk and see if there is a delay in stamping the visa. They might be able to help you with the correct information.

@np1771, I had my interview on Nov 1st too and am awaiting arrival of passport. Work visa for fortune 500 company. Please update if you have any progress.

Got my passport today with visa stamped. Seems to be a slow process.

I'm also in the same boat. I had my visa interview at mum consulate on Nov 29th and still waiting for my passport with no update from the consulate. The status on vfs website still says that passport is under process at the consulate.
