Do we need to carry Original I797 for H4 Visa?

Hi all,

Do H4 applicants have to carry Original I-797 of the principal applicant??

I am on H1b and my H1B visa stamp is with different company and I am currently working with a different company. I have sent a copy of my current I-797 and H1B visa page. Wondering, if it is required to carry the Original I 797?

* my H1b Visa stamp is not expired,if it matters.

Copy is fine. Current employer's approval notice is needed.
