VFS Appointment issue

I am trying to book appointment in chennai today. but, i got the confirmation message with appointment in mumbai consulate . The confirmation letter says the same thing. When i selected the date it poped up message with selected date in chennai. After that, confirmation message generated with different consulate mumbai. In this case, what can i do? Please, advise.

I also tried to book dates for Mumbai today, but every time I select the date in Mumbai calendar and click OK on the pop-up to confirm, it goes back to the calendar page. i also see a javascript error at the bottom of IE status bar when the calendar page loads. I cant proceed and book a date. I am wondering if it is a technical issue on the site or something on my end. I emailed the VFS customer service with this query too.

Please let me know of other experiences or any help too.

The site is back up, but I am facing the same issue on the last page when selecting dates. No confirmation after selecting OK. Anyone succesfully has booked today or encountered the same issue??

i'm facing the same issue ... the appointment is not confirmed after selecting a date. i've tried, IE9, IE8, IE7, Firefox, Chrome, Opera... and the same error on every browser... I'm about to go insane now If anyone of you have success... please post here... i'll do the same. thanks.

Same issue here. Tried IE8, IE10, Safari and Firefox. The website mentions that VFS is closed today for thanksgiving.

Tried right now. No success still. Keep trying and post please. It is frustrating to see the dates you have been waiting for and now NOT able to book!!!

I am sure you guys might have done this earlier but have you guys called VFS? I think they are closed today but try calling on 11/25....

Called up VFS helpdesk @ 8AM India time and they asked me try after 1 hour. Tried it again at 9:30AM India time and it still doesn not work. Anyone had luck?

i called them at 8 as well... and subsequently sent them an email with a screenshot of the JS error ... seems like a simple case of missing punctuation in the code ... hopefully a fix will come soon ... will let you guys know if i succeed ...
