  • DS-160 form correction

    Hi,

I am currently in US on H1B Visa. I'll be traveling to India and need to get my first H1B stamping. I filled up DS-160 form, got the CEAC barcode and paid the Fee at HDFC. Now, I realized that I filled up my 'home address' as my home address in India, although I am currently residing in US. Does it make a difference? is there a way I can correct that information on my DS-160 form without re-paying the fee at HDFC?

    Please advise.

    Thanks
    Abhinav

The information that you have entered in correct. There is no need to correct that. You need to give an address where they can contact you if required. Unless the visa gets approved, you cannot travel to U.S and there is no point in giving the U.S address.
Not a legal advice. Use of this information is strictly at your own risk.
