H4 Stamping??
My fiance and I are due to get married in around 1 month. He is coming to Australia for the wedding. He was told by US Consulate in his country, to send all the necessary papers (marriage certificate, etc) to her and she will approve our documents that it has been certified by the US Consul.
She then said that all we had to do was fly to US and we can get the stamp at Port of Entry. Is this correct?
She said it is best that I apply for my approval from his home country because that was where he got his visa stamped. I don'thave to go, just send it through and she will process it.
When applying for H4, do they put a visa in your passport or give you an approval letter for stamping at US port?
If anyone can tell me their thoughts on this, I will be very happy. Thanks.
