Mumbai consulate waiting for Passport after 221g Blue slip

Hi

I had submitted my passport at VFS on 1st Dec.
And waiting for my passport back from consulate.

Any one in same boat join this thread.

221 g blue slip - passport submitted - mumbai consulate

submitted the passport on Friday, Dec 2nd. Still no updates on when i would get passport back...

Called VFS multiple times but got the msg that embassy did not released the passport yet.

what does that mean? how long would it take usually to get the passport back?

I had received my passport back with Visa on 6th December, 2011.
Finally wait is over.
You will also get your passport soon, may be in 1-2 days.

When I talked to VFS people, they mentioned that i will receive an SMS and an email saying that the passport is ready for pick up.

@Spatel09 - Did you get any SMS or email from VFS??

I had received my passport back with Visa on 6th December, 2011.

You will also get your passport soon, may be in 1-2 days.
