221g Pink Slip at New Delhi

Hi,

I attended my Visa interview on 9th Dec and the VO asked me some simple questions regarding my work location and current roles and responsibility. I wasn't asked for any documents though.The interview went smooth then suddenly VO asked me to come to counter #30, there I was handed a pink slip with the case number on it again no documents were asked to be submitted. They kept my passport and I-797too. The lady told me that it will be 3-4 weeks before they get back to me. I could read that VO has written "donkey" in the notes after the VI, so my guess is that it is a possible name check (I am not a muslim). I am a full time employee of a reputed company.
Reading the other posts on the forum has made me little worries about the delays and a possible rejection many applicants are receiving. Please advice or share if someone else has had similar experience.

Hi,

I attended my Visa interview on 15th Nov 2011 and the VO asked me only two simple question regarding client . I wasn't asked for any documents though.The interview went smooth then suddenly VO asked me to come to counter #30, there I was handed a pink slip with the case number on it again no documents were asked to be submitted. They kept my passport and I-797too. The person told me that it will be 3-4 weeks before they get back to me. I could see my slip and one circle is there by officer on the last name .I am not a muslim. I am a full time employee of a reputed company.
Reading the other posts on the forum has made me little worries about the delays and a possible rejection many applicants are receiving. Please advice or share if someone else has had similar experience.

I have the similer case pending from last 15th nov. I have only last name Udyan.

on the application name was written like

FNU UDYAN

No Surname in passport

Hey,

I also do not have surname in my passport, i have only 'Given Name' in the passport.

I already have B1 and L2 stamping in my passport, never faced any problem.I was just wondering is this the first time for you guys for US Visa

Hi Guys,

I had the same situation in Delhi . Later I got my passport back with a letter saying "We can't issue you a visa now we have sent your Petition for Review to USCIS"

Not sure how many years USCIS would take to come back

I had my interview on 28th Dec New delhi and i got 221g pink slip. Full time eployee and I am on 7th yr h1b.

Still waiting.
