attended visa interview in New Delhi. After the routine questions about the client, employer etc., the lady said that they have to review the documents and took all my documents including the passport. They did not give me any kinda 221g slips. She took my ph# and said that she will contact me. what does that mean?

It means your case is under admin processing. You will hear back from the consulate when the admin processing gets over. You can contact VFS helpdesk after few weeks to get a tracking number to track your case online.

I had the same experience on 14th. It was a desi lady and she asked me all the questions related to employer, vendor, client(employer->vendor->primary vendor->client). and told that my case is complicated and they need to verify further. She wrote down everything I told about my employer and others and asked me to read the same and sign on that info I provided. I didn't get any slip and they had kept all my documents and passport.

any change in your status? coz they asked me to come to the consulate for the second time and asked some questions and made me sign on my documents and told me that they will contact me in a week. Still no response.
