Is travel on B1 possible while filing for H1?

Hi,

Kindly advise.

I am currently holding a 10 year B1/B2 visa (Tourist/Business) visa and my company is now filing for a H1 visa. My queries are as below:

1. Can I travel to the US on the B1/B2 visa while my H1 is being filed?
2. If yes, can I travel on this B1/B2 visa anytime until October 1st?
3. Can I travel to the US on B1/B2 visa irrespective of the H1 approval status and/or stamping status?

Kindly answer at the earliest.
