Passport renewed

Dear All,
I am on H1B visa that has expirty till 06/2013. My passport had expiry in 03/12. I went to India recently, on return the port of entry wrote on my passport " stay till expiry of the passport". Now that I have renewed my passport should I contact to the US immigration services that I have renewed my passport? I appreciate your feed back. Thank you, Raghavesh

Go to the nearby CBP post and see if they can issue you a new I-94 based on the renewed passport. Or leave the country and return back and you will get a new I-94 based on the renewed passport and petition. Alternatively you can file another H1B extension before the current I-94 expiry date.
