Does H1B application cancellation has any negative impact for future applications ?

Hi,

I have applied for the H1B and got RFE on last October. If my employer send response to the RFE and still my application got cancelled, is it going to have any negative impact if I apply for the visa in the next year?

Can my employer withdraw the petition saying the position, for which the visa was applied, is no longer required. Will it do any good for my future visa application.

Please give your suggestions.
