I797 Approved petition

Hello,

I have an approved i797 from my current employer. Can i get my h1b stamped from my new employer on the basis of my i797?
Please guide.

Your question is not clear. Has the new employer file an H1B petition for you?

I have an approved petition from employer 1, can this petition be transferred to employer 2. If so, do I need the approval from employer 1 for the same?

Yes, employer 2 can file a cap exempt petition for you at any time. They will need at the very least the receipt number for 1's petition and having receipt notice or approval notice will be better.
