I am applying for my masters for Fall 2012 in US I am currently in H-4 visa status in US.
I am thinking of applying for my F1 visa in India (as I want to apply for Internship and OPT). But have heard some people say that getting F1 visa (from my current H4 status) can take more time, like 6 months.I am really worried. Is that true? Does anyone this in forum know of people (or have had experience) who applied for F1 (from H4 status) in India and got success ?
