Submitted H1 and H4 Extension on 15th Sep 2011, H4 online status H4 approved, not H1
My company filed application for my H1 extension and my wife's H4 extension and USCIS received the application on 15th Sep 2011 as per the online status page.
Few days back when I checked my status it was showing 'initial Review' state, but when I checked my wife's status it was showing 'Post Decision Activity' and the comments says that they have mailed the I539 application notice. I have following concerns:
1. I have not received the approved petition for my wife yet, it has been more then a month. Can I followup on this anywhere.
2. How come the principle application (H1) is still pending and the dependent visa got approved, what does it means?
Your responses and experiences are most welcome and I would appreciate the help to get this clear.
