221(g) blue letter, Requires Additional Administrative Processing

Hi friends/H1b applicants !

I attended for H1B interview in Hyderabad consulate on 8th. Dec. 2011. The V O took all my original application package at the end of interview and returned passport then issued the blue form 221(g) with a case tracking number. My case requires additional administrative processing as per V O. What does this AAP process include in my case. Actually I worked in USA on a EC model. Now I came to India for stamping having a I-797 approval direct H1B with the employer. Even then my case was put under AAP. But when i enter my case ID ....... ... . to track status, its showing all the time saying that ' sorry we are unable to trace your case id number ....... ... . Please enter correct number as following and try '. I am going mad past one month, because of this. Why the status of my case doesn't appear against my id. Please help me out in this situation anything went wrong with the interview or would i get visa stamped in any case and how long i have to wait for the reply from the consulate people.

Any one with similar cases and experiences please share your opinions.

I am also in similar situation waiting for my AAP to be completed since last 2 months from chennai consulate. You will not find any online info for this cases. You will just have to wait for the consulate send you an email if there is any update. Just be positive and patient. Good Luck

Hello All

I got an update from consulate. I received a call from VFS to collect my documents which were with consulate all these days. I went to VFS and collected the packet. They have given me another 221 g form green color with same case number. No documents were asked to submit except my passport and ds 160 confirmation page. I guess my admin process is completed. I wish u all good luck.
