Visa stamping requirement with already valid Visa from previous employer

Hi, I have a valid H1 Visa till this year end from my previous employer. I transferred the H1 to new employer and have a valid I-797 till this year end. Does stamping is required if I go to India?

I don't think you will require stamping. Your old visa will work and you need to show your new H1B approved petition i-797 at the port of entry. correct me seniors if I am wrong.

make sure your old employer is not revoking your existing visa when you put papers to old employer

Employer cannot revoke the visa. Employer can only revoke the petition that they have filed.
