H1B from OPT

Hi All,

I have this strange question. I am on OPT now which is valid till June 2013. If I apply for H1-B in April 2012, but somehow it got denied, Can I still continue working on my OPT? I mean will the OPT status will still be valid?

If H1B gets denied, then you will remain in OPT until the OPT expiry date.
