Security Clearance for H1B visa stamp

I have had a fingerprint clearance and security clearance while getting H1B stamp after three years in 2005, it took about EIGHT month to get it stamp.

My Labor certificate is under process and due to via EB3 I have to wait, may be another extension for H1B.

My question is if I will go for re-stamping visa after extension. DO they will ask again Fingerprint clearance and Security Clearance???

Afraid so...

I suspect the consular officer is going to ask for another security clearance since your name would show up as a "hit" in their database. Carry old docs if you still want to chance it.
