H4 visa application after entering the US with a tourist visa

Is there a problem if I enter the US with my current tourist visa, get married in the US and then apply for an H4 while in the States? My fiance is a doctor currently under an H1B visa.

Problem if you are doing it with an intention at the point of entry. Waiting 90 days after entry is the best course and you should not have the intent to marry and change status at point of entry as per visitor visa rules. Also if you belong to a visa waiver country, it may not be possible.
