unpaid vacation payslip

Hi,
I plan to take unpaid vacation to my home country for the month of march and employer will not generate any payslip for march.
1) Is that in any way violation to H1B?
2) Will it show up in W2 and can be questioned in future extension, approvals etc?

>>> When you leave the country, you are no longer in H1B status and so you are not violating any H1B regulations.

>>> No. You need to get paid correctly when you are in U.Sin H1B status. When you are outside U.S there is no need for the pay slips to be generated.
