H4 visa stamping

Hi. I received my approval notice from USCIS of my H4 Petition and I got approved (extension to stay until august 2013)last week. I am planing to go to my home country Philippines on June. Do I still need to go to US Embassy in Manila to get my passport stamp for re entry to United States ? Also, can i do stamping in Canada ? If it does, what are the requirements ? I dont have Canadian visa.

If you leave the country, you need a valid H4 visa to re-enter U.S. You have to return all the I-94s when you leave including the one that came with your H4 extension. You can get the H4 stamped in Canada. You will need to apply and get a Canadian visitors visa.
