My employer recently asked me to work temporarily in a location that is not one of my designated waiver areas. According to them, since it is included in the same HPSA/underserved area that is on my application, I can safely work there. Do I need an amendment to my H1B to work there? (Their attorney said it was up to me, but they refuse to pay for it- me doing it alone would cose me 2000 bucks to work in a location that was not even in my contract!)
