Travel between switching jobs (H1B Transfer)

I am currently working for employer A(with valid H1B visa), have an approved H1B Transfer to work for employer B.
If my last day at employer A is 10th March and start date at B is April 1.

Can i travel to India between 10th March and 31st March?

Yes. Remember to return all your I-94 (including the one that came with the transfer) when you leave U.S. You can return back using any valid H1B visa and the new employer's petition and start working for the new employer. Whichever employer's petition you show at the POE should be the employer with whom you should be working after your return.

If you quit your current employer on 10th March, then leave the country immediately. Any time spend in U.S between quitting the current employer and joining the new employer will be considered as out of status period.
