H1 Petition returned due to incorrect address provided by employer

My H1 extension just got approved a couple of weeks ago and the petition was mailed to my employer. However since the address on file for my employer with USCIS is incorrect the status says: On February 29, 2012, the post office returned the notice we last sent you on this case I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER as undeliverable. This may have serious effects on processing this case.
Also it has been pushed back to the Initial Decision status where they conduct all background checks and re do everything.

- Is this correct. What should I do at this point to avoid them from re processing and get the petition mailed back to the correct address.

Ask the lawyer who filed the petition to contact USCIS. They will know what to do.
