BEP can go before oct'12?

Hi There,

I have a query.
At present, to apply for a new H1, we have to wait till April-12.
We will file our new H1 application by April'12 and it may take up to 4 moths to get processed.
So if we get H1 approved by July, can we go by July itself or should we need to wait till Oct'12?
I heard that if it is BEP case and approved by July then no need to wait till Oct and we shall travel as soon as the Visa is approved. Is that correct information?
Can someone please confirm is that true?

You can enter U.S only 10 days prior to the H1B effective date. Your H1B effective date will be mentioned in your H1B approval notice. If filed in April, the effectrive date will be Oct 1st or later.

After petition is approved, you can apply for Visa anytime, but you cannot travel before Sep 20 and start working on Oct 1. BEP has nothing to do with that.
