cap or no cap?

I am a physician and I have h1b visa that is cap exepmted as my hospital is a NPO. If I change my employer and if it is a profit organization that allows me to extend to 3 more years of H1b visa, will my visa come under cap limit or be considered as cap exempted? Kindly clarify me on this regard. Your info is very valuable. Raghavesh

It will be subjected to CAP. Petition can be filed after April 1st (as long as the CAP remains open) with a H1B effective date of Oct 1st or later.
