I paid the visa fees for H4 visa on 5th Jan 2012 using my current passport number, in view of my impending wedding in Feb. Last month I got married.
Due to few complications in my passport, I had to get the passport re-issued with the required changes. I would be getting the new passport, with a new passport number and my surname added in it, in a few weeks from now.
As the visa fee receipt I already have has my 'current/soon-to-be-old' passport number and my older name on it, would the US embassy accept it or would I have to pay fees again

Would my old fees receipt become invalid?
