H4Visa Stamping - Original I797

Hi,

My H4 stamping is scheduled in the first week of april.
And my husband is currently in US.

Will i need to carry his original I797 or would the copy suffice ?
As it would be difficult to send his original I797 with this short span.

Advisable to carry the original. Depending on the VO, a copy of the approval notice may work. Check the list of required documents here.
