I am filling DS-160 for my wife, she is in india and need to go to embassy for stamping H4B. Situation in my case is like
here is list of events i came across -
my confusion is - in ds-160 on "previous travel information page" it asks
have you ever been issued us visa -
----> my answer is - "YES"
so now if answer to above question is yes then they ask for more information
date last visited - this is OK, i know the answer
visa number --- this is where i am not sure what to enter
my options are
L1B visa number which was stamped on her passport
or latest H4B petition/receipt number
this confusion arose because in tip - section it states that you enter 9 digit number printed in red on right corner of your visa.
So please if you know or were in similar situation please let me know what should i fill
L2B visa stamping number or latest H4B receipt/petition number?
Note- all petitions and visa request were successfully approved without any issues.
