L1B and H1B parallel processing

Hi,

About me (my history):
I am in India (home country) and havent travelled to US till date.
I have a approved H1B petition (Approved in June 2009, but visa stamping wasnt done) from my ex employer 'Emp A' (in India).
And now i am working for Employer 'B' (in India).
Recently I got a job offer from one of the employer in US (Employer 'C') and hence they have initiated the H1 transfer (i.e. LCA followed by a new cap exempt H1B).


My Problem:
Now my current employer 'B' wants me to initiate a L1B (while my H1B is being processed from employer 'C')


My concerns/questions:
1. Is it going to be an issue if a H1B and a L1B petitions are being processed simultaneously. I read few threads and it appeared to me that it should not be an issue. But still wanted to confirm.
2. Is the filling sequence of the petition going to impact/determine the visa interview schedule? i.e. if my L1B gets filled first, and may be my H1B gets transfered (later) then is it necessary for me to take the L1 visa interview first (or can i take it in any manner/sequence)?
3. Also, assuming that i had to go and take the L1 visa interview first (and visa stamping is approved), then is it possible for me to go and take another interview againast my H1B petetiton later (maybe just after a week)?
4. Also, assuming that i had to go and take the L1 visa interview first (and visa stamping is rejected), then is it possible for me to go and take another interview againast my H1B petetiton later (maybe just after a week)?

L1B and H1B parallel processing

There is no restriction in processing L1 and H1 together, but you have to understand that you can either be on H1 OR on L1 NOT both. You cannot have both valid H1 and valid L1 visa in your passport at the same time, only one will be valid.

Well you can surely attend H1 interview after L1 is approved and stamped but if H1 is approved then they will cancel your L1.

I believe you meant that suppose you got your H1 first and later went for L1. Again, if H1 is approved and stamped and you attend L1 interview and it also get approved, your H1 will be cancelled.

If your H1 is rejected, you can go and fill another DS-160 and scedule an appointment for L1 and vice versa. But you will have to mention about the rejection in the DS-160.
