H4 to h1..help me

hello guys,

I have completed engineering in 2007.I worked in a sw company for 2 yrs in india.Last year(2011) i moved to US as my husand works here.I am on H4 visa now.Some ABC company in US is ready to file my H1 this year.
My doubt is what are the documents requried for filing H1?
Company says that past experience certificates are not required to submit( though i am specifiying that i have 2+ yrs of experience ) for filing h1 as i am transferring from h4 to h1 . How far is this true?
If anyone has applied h1 last year please tell me what docs are required?
Please help me ...

>>> You need the past experience letters. H1B is for speciality occupation. You need experience combined with education.
