    >>> You can appear for the interview at any U.S consulate in India. Appearing for the interview only at the U.S consulate that falls under the consular district of your home town doesn't exist anymore.

I enquired with VFS regarding appearance of interview, they said its your choice but need have reason for changnig the consulate. ?
    >>> Well, like they mentioned, it is your choice.

Do I need to carry any letter from employer for changing the consulate ?
    >>> Not required.

My employer is consulting companies what are the questions will be asked during the interview and what are the supporting documetns need to carry.?
    >>> Questions are always about your employer, your roles and responsibilities, the client that your will work for, project details, your experience and qualification to work etc. For the list of documents, check the below link.

          H1 B Interview Question

          Dear Shervin,

What will be best answer for these questions.

Why your F1 Visa got rejected 3 times ? If asked by VO.

I am having 2 passports. My old passport booklet changed as Photograph was not clear. So I got the new passport in the year 2009. Do I need to carry both the passports or latest one. Will VO ask any question regarding change of passport booklet ?

Do I need to mentioend details earlier rejection in DS-160 form or not as this passport does not have any rejections as such. ?

          Please reply.

          Thanks a ton in advance.

          Regards.
          Hussain.

Why your F1 Visa got rejected 3 times ? If asked by VO.
            >>> How can a forum member help you answer this question. Don't you know why your F1 was rejected 3 times. By the way, they will have enough information in their system for the rejection of your F1. So I doubt if they will even ask you this question. They are the one who rejected the visa and they will know why.

            >>> Carry both the passports. If VO asks, explain the reason for the new passport. This is not new to them.

Do I need to mentioend details earlier rejection in DS-160 form or not as this passport does not have any rejections as such. ?
            >>> You need to mention all your previous rejections. They will have a record of all your previous rejections and they will know. Any false information in DS160 can lead to a life ban from entering U.S.

Background verification can be done for anything. Your education, experiences submitted based on the experience letters you have provided, criminal background verification against police files, on the employer who filed your petition, the ability of the employer to pay you as per the approved LCA, If your profile is under TAL (Technology Alert List), if you had a common muslim name - then they will have a separate background verification to make sure they are not letting in the wrong person and many more that we don't know off.

                          H1 B Interview

                          Dear Shervin,

My H1B Petition approved in the months of March-2012 after 11 months, with responding RFE in the month of November-2011. As per USCIS case status shows my petition got approved under Post Decision Activity.

Can you tell me what is the difference between : Decision and Post Decision Activity ?

What are the chances of getting 221 (G) query durring interview, as we already respond RFE and my petition falls under Post Decision Activity ?

What are the documents need to carry to establish Employer-Employee relationship ?

As said earlier I am resident of AP can I go to Kolkata Counslate or do I need to carry any supporting documents to prove reason for opting this counslate, wherein Interview dates are available in Hyderabad ?

Counsuler wont ask why did you approach Kolkatta why not Hyderabad ?

                          Pls. revert.

                            >>> Decision indicates that a decision has been made on the submitted petition, and either an approval notice or a denial notice is in the process of being produced or sent out, or it's on its way.

Post Decision indicates for an approved petition, USCIS is sending notification of the approved petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied petition, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider the revocation.

What are the chances of getting 221 (G) query durring interview, as we already respond RFE and my petition falls under Post Decision Activity ?
                            >>> These two processes are entirely isolated. Just because you received an RFE and responded to it to USCIS, it doesn't mean that you will not get a 221g from the consulate. Everyone's petition status will change to Post decision Activity at sometime, not just yours

What are the documents need to carry to establish Employer-Employee relationship ?

                            >>> Like I mentioned earlier, you are allowed to attend the visa interview at any U.S consulate in India. The concept of attending the visa interview at the consulate that falls under the consular district of your home no longer exist.

                            >>> They don't ask. Well, if they ask explain the reason. You must be knowing why you want to go attend the visa interview at Kolkatta.

There are some chances of getting 221(g) - if your name is common muslim name then there are chances. But not necessary you will get 221(g). It all depends on case to case and your luck.
Given the fact, and the priority you may decide if you want to travel. Obviously family emergency always takes precedence.
