H4 coming to US after H1 transfer

Hi Moderators,

Iam on H1 B
My wife(H4-Dependent) is currently in India and has a valid visa till sep 2013 with my old employer.
I transferred my H1 to new employer and April 02nd 2012 is my start date with them.
I-9 record has been updated by my new employer.
I heard though you have a valid visa the employer name must be changed before you enter US.
Is this correct?will she have to take visa appointment to change employer?
she is coming to US on 17th April.
At the POE will there be any hassles if she shows My new employer offer letter/I-797 and other documentation.

Please advise.

No issues. She can travel on her existing valid H4 visa. She will need to carry your latest H1B approval notice (I-797).
