H4-H1-H4-H1 change of Status

I am currently on H4 status. I got H1 approved from Oct'08-Oct'11. I had not used my H1 visa during that period and I shifted to H4 because of recession. Now I am planning to work.Could anyone help me how should I go further to get H1.

1. If I found an employer, is it possible to convert back from H4 to my earlier H1 again(not being in cap) or does I have to file a new H1 to work.

2. Does it cost same amount as new H1 visa.

2. If I could able to apply for transfer H4-H1, can I work after getting receipt # or do I have to wait till approval.

Please ,I need help desperately regarding this. Anyone on familiar with this scenario please help me.

Cap exempt petition can be filed.

2. Does it cost same amount as new H1 visa.
Filing cost is paid by the employer.

You have to wait until it is approved with change of status.
Please ,I need help desperately regarding this. Anyone on familiar with this scenario please help me.
